SkillPokerGame derives its name from our belief that poker is a game of skill rather than a game of luck. With free multi-player tables, and free tournaments daily, players at SkillPokerGame have plenty of opportunity to play against each other to develop their skills and techniques.
Texas Hold'em is the most famous poker game, and most played in SkillPokerGame tournaments and freerolls. Read the pages we have describing the rules of poker, and familiarize yourself with our glossary of most used poker terms. The hand rankings page is very helpful for beginners, and easily understood. If you take the time to read the rules and get acquainted with the game, then you can join in on the action of the play money tables to gain some experience.
 The more you play, the more you will enjoy the challenge of poker, and find that it's the 'skilled' rather then the 'lucky' that are most often rewarded. Talk with any winner of a major tournament and they will tell you that their skills played a major role in their winning, and the skills of their opponents made their challenge that more difficult. But, they will also tell you that luck played a role in their winning as well.
Bodog.com $200K Guaranteed! This weekend, as NFL fans get a week's rest before the Superbowl, Bodog.com is adding an extra $100,000 to it's Sunday guaranteed tournament. January 28 will mark the first time Bodog Poker has ever offered a $200K Guaranteed prize pool.
The buy-in stays the same, $100 + $9, and last weekend's tourney had 801 registrants - based on the same amount of players, that would be a $120,000 overlay!
On January 25, 26, and 27th, Bodog is also hosting 3 special tournaments where Bodog players can buy in with their poker points to play for seats to the $200K. Here is that information:

→ Payout T$109 for each 10 Players
→ 500 Max players per tournament
